Tata Nexon interior: Design, Quality, Fit & Finish and Utility

The Tata Motors is presently one of the most sought-after automobile makers in India that deals with competitively priced cars across segments. The Tiago and Bolt hatchback, Zest and Tigor subcompact sedans and the big and premium Hexa SUV have all been fiercely priced, almost killing its competitors as far as the value-for-money is concerned.

review of Tata Nexon

The latest Tata Nexon is one such similar car that is rich in features but extremely attractive in the price department. The car is born out of the compact crossover segment and is capable enough to give nightmares to its competitors like the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Honda WR-V etc. This new subcompact SUV will be launched in September in India and will be yet another product marking the silver lining of the company in the year 2017.

Talking about the Tata Nexon interiors, the car features some of the best features in the segment along with best quality fit and finish. If we get down to talking about the interiors in an elucidated manner, we will have loads of things to talk on.

Hence, let’s just indulge ourselves and find out all that we need to know about the interior styling, features and utility and why it has managed to garner wide craze in most of the automobile enthusiasts and prospective buyers.

Interior structure

The Tata Nexon is a 5-seater subcompact car with a foldable rear centre armrest. The seat rows on the deck have been placed with a generous amount of space and knee room in both the rows. The seats are large and have agood amount of shoulder room, especially for the rear seat occupiers. Long trips planned ahead? The Nexon will offer you a comfortable drive even on long trips.

The grand center console

If not for anything else, the Tata Nexon will definitely rank high as far as the attractive dashboard layout is concerned. The center console cannot be described as anything else by grand. The stylish setting of all the bits and the sliding door storages are nothing but elegant and useful. The texture and the quality of the surface are uncompromisingly crafted with the highest notch of perfection.

The infotainment system

The infotainment system of the new Tata Nexon is one of the features that make it stand out among the contemporary cars in the segment. Usually, the touchscreen infotainment display is embossed on the central control among the other button bits. However, the one provided in the Tata car is a floating display which looks like a pop-up display, something that we find in the Mercedes CLA.

The touchscreen display comes with Android Auto connectivity, voice recognition technology and navigation. Moreover, while on the drive, you can also reply to the messages with voice-based warnings. Added to this, there is an 8-speaker Harman sound system that transforms the car like a virtual concert hall on wheels.

The technical aspects

Tata Nexon is rich, in every aspect. For the braking, the subcompact car gets disc brake units on all the four wheels. But that is not it, it even gets the additional feature of an ABS along with EBD (electronic brake-force distribution) on all the four wheels. Hence, all trips are much safer than it used to be earlier. Dual safety airbags, which are a boon to this safety parameter, are added as a standard feature across all variants.

Some of the other features that will promote convenience are the push-button Start and the access to the doors and the boot with just the click of the button on the proximity smart key. It also gets sensors and a reverse camera which will enable you a hassle free parking.

Conclusion

Waiting for the Tata Nexon to be launched would be one of the wisest things to do. The Nexon offers features most of the other cars fail at. But there is another factor with which the compact crossover is expected to hit its competitors hard and long. It is the price tag.

Of course, the company hasn’t revealed the exact figures as such. However, keeping in mind the reputation of the company with its past models, the pricing is expected to be well below Rs. 10 lakhs even for the top-spec trim.
